New Installation or Retrofit -

we can meet your needs!

At Foster Electric/Arizona Pump we specialize in helping you resolve your electrical and pumping problems. Whether your situation involves pump stations, electrical installations, motors, drives or other electromechanical needs, we have the expertise and qualified staff to help you decide the best course of action to handle it. If you need new installation or to upgrade or completely retrofit existing installations, we can do it. The following projects show some of the services we provide.

A MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITY

This is an example of a master planned community that has its own water systems on site including, a domestic water system, domestic water wells, sewer lift stations, a sewer treatment plant, a pump station to pump water from CAP Canal into lakes. We also installed pump stations to pump water from lakes to golf courses for watering. Foster Electric/Arizona Pump was involved in much of the engineering and installation of these systems.

The domestic water system utilizes a 500,000 gallon tank to store the water for the entire community. The water is pumped from five different wells in the surrounding area. (WLB Engineering designed the domestic water system and installed the storage tank.) Foster Electric installed the automated telemetry system (right) which signals the well sites to pump the water to the tank.

Foster Electric/Arizona Pump fabricated and built the pump station for the water storage tank, including the pressure tank, booster pumps and electrical that pump the water from the storage tank to the houses and facilities.

More Projects

Foster Electric/Arizona Pump installed this fountain aerator which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides necessary oxygenation to the lake. We also installed the 600 amp electrical service (below) that runs the fountain and supplies service to the main golf course.

This is an example of the unique cart barn charger racks we design and build to make charging golf carts more efficient.

This is the 400 amp service we installed to provide all the power for the domestic water system and the sewer lift station. It also houses the emergency transfer system that switches to the emergency generator in the event of a power outage.

Foster Electric/Arizona Pump built and installed this pump station for the Precision Golf Course. Two 20 HP motors running on VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives) pressurize the water system to water this course.

This is a typical 100 HP submersible pump which pumps water up to the 500,000 gallon storage tank. We built and installed all electrical services, z-pipes and made all of the mechanical connections.

Retrofit at a valley resort

If your pump system can be remanufactured instead of replaced, it can be a very cost effective solution to your problem. The following example shows a pump system that was refurbished and redesigned (utilizing the original pumps), to achieve maximum efficiency. This pump system at a valley resort was installed approximately 15 years ago. We were able to retrofit this system instead of replacing it with a completely new system, which saved the customer approximately $15,000 to $20,000.

Worth Salvaging

Over the years mechanical problems and the use of effluent water caused corrosion of the pump station.
We fabricated and built a new base plate and riser using diamond plate steel.
Arizona Pump rebuilt the existing pumps and motors and repositioned them on the base. We fabricated the piping system and manifold to set them over the wet well. This accommodates the new pump locations, making them easier to maintain.
We sandblasted the entire pump station and used a three coat epoxy process to ensure the longevity of this retrofit.

At Foster Electric/Arizona Pump, we do our best to work around your schedule as we did at this resort by working around their irrigation schedule.
